Dedicated Idiocy: How Monty Python Fandom Changed My Life

Comments about cover design
For my memoir about my experiences in a Monty Python appreciation society, I wanted to create a book cover that captured the spirit of Monty Python. What better way to do this than to borrow the same foot from a classical painting that has become synonymous with MPFC? I paired this with a period photo of my group looking silly and used a bright background and a font that imitated the grandiose font used in many Monty Python publications. My husband, a web designer, provided some tips on colors and the overall look. Since the book is Kindle-only, I did not include the subtitle on the cover, which would only have cluttered it up and made it harder to read.
