An Invitation to Hitler

Comments about cover design
The novel is a political thriller set in London in1940. I worked with Andrew to get the ambience right. Hence the sepia tones and the fonts used, with the gilt surround to pick up the idea of an invitation..
HOWEVER, I’d love some feedback on the base image we used. It works well with readers in the UK and Ireland.
But does it work in the US? Do Americans recognize the door of 10 Downing Street? (The seat of the British government and the heart of the conspiracy.)
Would it be better with a red telephone box or Big Ben or something similar to symbolise London?
Would love to hear, via comment here.
