Quinn Henaghan is a shy assistant working in a Hollywood talent agency. Though she loves her adopted home and its history, she knows Tinseltown tends to eat its own. Los Angeles is a company town–it exploits and throws away the young and the naive. Quinn is unaware she carries a recessive gene tying her to an ancient order of sorcerers. She’s a rare female wizard and her power far outstrips that of her male counterparts. Her bosses know and they stoke her latent gift to pit her against a demon who’s lorded over LA for a century. Trapped in a no-win situation, Henaghan must master her abilities in a hurry or pay the ultimate price.
Follow Quinn into a shadow world of magic and monsters. Watch as she grows from a mousy shut-in into the most powerful woman in the world.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I’d been wanting to write novels for some time. After a serious health scare, I decided now was definitely the time! I also knew that I wanted to do series fiction so I dove in with both feet. Company Town is the first book in a trilogy. I completed all three books before releasing CT. This really helped with continuity.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I tend to gravitate toward female characters. Given the premise and the location, a protagonist who was a young woman seemed like a good fit.
