What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
A dramatic life event posed the author with a crisis. Seizing the opportunity, he decided to explore overgrown paths that he had left unexplored years ago. Crisis transformed into opportunity and he began writing erotic fiction.
This book is informed (in part) by his own experiences. He prefers to let readers try to figure out which bits.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Both main characters are drawn from people the author has known in his professional working life. It wasn't too much of a stretch to imagine them in more constrained circumstances, to wonder about how they might behave, what their secret desires might be and what price they would be willing to pay for gain.

She was trembling ever so slightly now, holding herself tighter, her limbs pressed in.
He went on, each word savoured, spoken as if each syllable were a tasting of salty slivers. "I warn her now, though. I will want every bit of her. Her lips. Her tongue. Her skin. Her wetness. Her taste. Her smell. Her pain. Her pleasure. All of her. Without condition. Exactly how. And when I say. Until dawn. Does she agree?"
It was as if his claiming her with words had broken the spell. The tremors vanished, mist now under sun, in their place a rising heat, of hot earth, a churning, living thing. She breathed in once, twice, heard the ricochet of a raindrop, the hiss of a smoking wing.
Her reply was as soft as the wind, a formless thing forming.
"What?" He was on his feet. "What did you say?"
She raised her face to him, let her arms drop, looked him in the eye.
"Yes," she replied. "She says yes."
