What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wrote this book after much prayer, because I want every believer to have a vibrant and active personal relationship with Jesus. It's not enough to pray as an afterthought, dust off the Bible when we feel like it and connect with believers every once in a while. It all begins with faith in knowing and believing who He is.
Each chapter is introduced with a story, making it an easy read. Scriptures are referenced throughout the book, along with thought-provoking questions if you wanted to use it for a group Bible Study. Hope you are blessed by reading it!

Chapter 3:
In January 2018, a young friend of ours, who had one semester left before graduating from university, got into a ride share with two males. It didn't end well. For the next 12 hours, she was sexually assaulted by the two men and an older man in the room next door. She was eventually released and went to the hospital. The police never prosecuted based upon the evidence that was available. Where's justice for the victim in this situation? Where's faith in a loving God to let something like this happen?
Evil is a part of our fallen world, but it is also temporary. The hope that every believer has is that God has promised a new world. God will right every wrong and dispense with evil, once and for all. We should never forget that we have not seen the final chapter in God's grand plan for this world. I can guarantee you that justice is going to prevail, for our friend and every wrong committee in thought, word or action to any of us. Come, Lord Jesus. Your kingdom come, you will be done.
Chapter 8:
Friends and family arrived at London Heathrow. They had made the overnight trip, over the pond, to England to witness the wedding. The next day, the groom was standing at the altar, looking very smart in his Scottish kilt. Two hundred people eagerly awaited the opening of the double doors at the back of the church, as our daughter entered being escorted by her father to an upbeat rendition of the "Doxology".
A doxology is a praise to God. Our daughter and son-in-law wanted their wedding day to celebrate God and all that He had done to bring them together in holy matrimony.
Christians around the world are usually familiar with the 25 words of the "Doxology". In fact, the four lines have been the most frequently sung words of any song for more than 300 years. They were written by an Anglican Bishop and childhood orphan named Thomas Ken (1637-1711), who attended Oxford and became the Royal Chaplain. He even spent a month in prison in the infamous Tower of London, although
It seems quite easy to shout God's praises when all is going right. But, what about in the midst of a crisis? Even in the midst of our trials, God is right where He has always been and where He will always be – right by our side. He will never forsake you! Stand firm in your faith. Remember His promises. In good or challenging times, it is my prayer that you will always be able to sing God's praises and give Him the glory as:
Praise God from whom all blessing flow;
Praise him all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Amen!
