“Littorno blows you away with a richly developed and intriguing thriller. All readers will be in for a thrill ride to the last page.”
Not every serial killer goes straight to hell. Some manage to keep a foot in this world and possess the living.
“The male voice had a slight European accent, ‘Go open your desk.’ Without giving it any conscious thought, Glen began walking slowly back across the parking lot toward the school. Just before he reached the curb of the sidewalk separating the rough pavement of the parking lot from the smooth sidewalk and the lawn of the campus, Glen asked himself just what he was doing. That was certainly a good question. Why exactly was he heading back to his classroom in the middle of the night to look inside of a desk? Before he could find an answer to the question, Glen found himself surrounded by a bright light.”
“Bloom’s Desk” by Jeffrey Littorno is a novel of paranormal horror. Ghost stories are always popular, and with this supernatural horror tale “readers will be in for a thrill ride to the last page”.

How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I think horror gives the writer an excuse to look into the darker parts of the mind.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Stop making excuses and give it a shot!
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This was my first novel. As of now, I have written four others. I was inspired to write Bloom’s desk by my
inability to find an excuse not to do it. I have always been involved in writing, either as an English teacher, film critic, or copywriter.
About the Author:
Jeffrey Littorno spent many years teaching English in the United States before going abroad to teach. After living in Kuwait, South Korea, Saipan, and Australia, Littorno returned to the United States and set about achieving his dream of writing novels. He now lives in Northern California with his wife
Gyeyeol and a growing number of cats. When he is not writing, Littorno teaches prison inmates in Folsom, California.
The ghost story ‘Bloom’s Desk’ is Littorno’s first novel. ‘Soul Hostage’, a dark fantasy, is his second. His third novel ‘The Most Uncommon Cold I: Life in the Time of Zombies is the first part of a zombie series. ‘The Most Uncommon Cold II: Survival in the Time of Zombies’ is due out in the summer of 2014.
Not surprisingly, the talented Mr. Littorno has quickly risen through
the ranks to become a bestselling author in the world of horror novels.
Praise for Jeffrey Littorno’s paranormal thriller ‘Soul Hostage’:
“From the very first page, I found myself wound up in the barbed-wire tangle of mixed emotions Littorno uses to ensnare his readers… ‘Soul Hostage’ is not a book about religion, but it definitely emanates the chaotic battle of good versus bad and right versus wrong…
Freaky and frightening five-star book!” – April
“I am unsure what genre to attribute this marvelous work. It is definitely a thriller filled with suspense, but it also has horror components. His works are evocative of Stephen King, with overtones of H.P. Lovecraft and a sprinkling of Steinbeck.” – Merry Widow
“Author, Jeffrey Littorno’s, novel was excellent, suspenseful, extremely scary, thriller, that had a mind blowing ending…This is a perfect example of ‘originality’, and not spinning someone else’s story…. It was so thought provoking, that it took me a few days before I could even write this review….The real scary question I have…….. who is author, Jeffrey Littorno and where has he been hiding? I definitely recommend this novel to any reader who is tired of the same thing over an over.” – Robin Lee
