What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This is the third book in the 'Benjay and the Magical Bubbles' series. The main character is a young cancer survivor with a prosthetic leg. I was inspired to write this book to show that people with disabilities can have exciting adventures too.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Benjay is a combination of people that I've known, with a desire to have a disabled lead with a positive personality. I came up with the Bubbles concept as I think there is a certain wonder to watching Bubbles fly – making them alive seemed like a great concept.
