What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Having read hundreds of books and my love for fiction inspired me to write my own stories. I prefer to read a series so that's why I chose to write a series. I love a book where I can imagine an entire world in which the characters live, so that was my goal with the D.E.V.I.N. series.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Lindsey and Angel's characters came to mind first, then something my son did had me thinking about Devin's character. My son is extremely bright, but is challenged with everyday things that most of us handle without a thought. Like Devin's character my son is a musician, he can write music for a thirteen piece band but wouldn't be able to tell you what his address is. I pondered how to bring the characters together for quite some time, until one day it clicked.

Lindsey sat at the desk in the office trying to gather her emotions. She had never seen a more gorgeous man; he was tall with defined muscles all over his body, and his eyes were electric—they caught your attention and didn’t let go. He was so masculine—he radiated masculinity. He had a naturally proud look to him. His high cheekbones and the way he carried himself made it seem like nothing ever ruffled his feathers. When they touched, a jolt of sexual energy zinged through her body. She was on fire. She hoped he hadn’t seen her blush when he looked at her—and my, my, my had he looked at her.
