What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I have always been fascinated about the mystery of the “Immortal Beloved,” a figure that remains a mystery to this day. I decided to write a time travel story wrapped around the mystery and came up with a very moving story that I am very proud of,
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Ludwig Van Beethoven and his brothers are part of history, as is the band Nightwish, which is also included in the story. The other characters are a product of my imagination. I wanted to make them as diverse and entertaining as possible.

Suddenly, Stephanie froze.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Toni asked.
“Do… do you hear that?”
“Hear what?”
“Music. The music I heard before. It’s so beautiful,” she said as she turned around to see where it was coming from. “Oh, my God!”
Floating in the air in the middle of an open area of the pub was the Circle. It was pulsating and crackling with energy, as if it seemed to waiting for something.
“No! Not yet!” Stephanie started to cry. “It can’t be time yet. Not now!”
“Steph,” Toni said and she looked at her. “This is it. This could be our only opportunity to ever get back home.”
“I know.”
“I’m fine with whatever you want to do. Whatever you decide, I’m game.”
They hugged each other for what seemed an eternity and, as they were doing do, Stephanie said the most painful words of her entire life.
“We’re going home.”
“Are you sure? Really sure?”
“Yes… yes. It’s where we belong. This entire thing has been a wonderful gift… but we don’t belong here. We belong back at home.”
“Okay.”
They parted and then looked at Ludwig and Doro. Both of them had incredulous looks on their faces as they looked from the Circle to the girls.
“What… what is this?” Ludwig stammered as he looked from them to the Circle and back.
Stephanie approached him, still trying to fight back her tears. “Ludwig, there’s something I have to tell you.”
“I… I always suspected there was a lot more to you than you were willing to say… but in my wildest dreams, I never thought… what is going on?”
“Ludwig… I have to leave. I have to go home.”
“Home?”
“I’m… I’m from another time. From the future. I know that’s hard to believe, but it’s true. I don’t have much time to explain – I don’t know if I ever could – but we have to leave. This could be our only chance to return.”
He finally turned from the Circle to look at her and take her into his arms. “Then I will go with you.”
Stephanie pushed herself away from him. “No! I can’t let you do that!”
“Why? I love you.”
“And I love you. As much as I want to, I can’t let you go because… you are too important… you will become… what you will do…”
“What? I don’t understand.”
“I’m sorry, Ludwig. I am so, so sorry. I can’t say. I know it’s cruel to leave you like this, but I don’t belong here. As much as I want to, I don’t.”
“Yes, you do. You do belong here. We belong together,” he said.
“I want to believe that. So, so much. But we don’t. For a while, I thought we did, wished we did, but I know that this time together has been only a temporary gift and no more.”
“Stay,” he pleaded as he wrapped his arms around her.
“I want to,” he said as she clutched him tightly realizing that these were their final moments together, “but I can’t.”
“Very well,” he finally said as they parted. “I shall respect your wishes. Will you ever come back to me?”
“I don’t… I don’t know,” she said honestly. This entire adventure had come completely out of the blue. For it to happen again? She had no way of knowing.
“If that is the case, then I shall never forget you. You will always be with me in my heart as I hope I will always be in yours.”
“Always.”
“To make sure of that, I will incorporate the memory of you into my music. That way, you – we – shall live forever.”
“I love you.”
“And I love you. Forever.”
