Why Did You Start a Book Blog?
As many book bloggers out there, I’m an avid reader. Books have been my closest companion since I was old enough to recognize their magic (which was before I could even read by myself! Thanks mom!) . I don’t live in a city big enough to boast any number of book clubs and I was getting lonely not being able to discuss or share my reading adventures with anyone. I came across a small network of book blogs one afternoon by accident and fell in love with the community. I joined the book blogging universe in March of 2012 to share my love for books with others. It’s been a joy ride ever since!
What Kinds of Books do You Review?
I will review most YA and Middlegrade genres as well as Historical Fiction, New Adult, Paranormal, and Women’s Mystery.
What advice would you give new book bloggers?
Give it time. Be patient. Network. The book blogging world is all about community and sharing with others. Have fun! Participate in blog hops, giveaways, and challenges. Be available and reliable and ALWAYS be honest in your reviews. Really, though, if you love and are passionate about books then that passion will shine through and people will enjoy visiting your little book-blogging nest!
