Tell Us About Your Blog
It’s about the collection of e-books (mostly technical) that I have browsed or is dying to read. I have used the tricks and coding tips based on the books I’ve read then apply them (codes) on this blog.
For example Responsive Web design (look and feel) and CodeChargeStudio (PHP editor) I really like the challenge of using these tools in order to make myself get a better career in web technologies and what more convenient and fun way to do it than blogging.
Why Did You Start a Book Blog?
Most of the web sites I found were bland and non-interactive, mostly with annoying popups and script bugs. And the usual like-post-read-more navigation seems tiresome especially for the impatient users.
I started a book blog first to remind myself on what book I found this piece of information instead of browser bookmark or when changing computers in the future…my book blog remains fresh the first day I created it.
And I like the uniqueness and awesomeness of today’s technology like Responsive Web Design, so I want my book blog to fit perfectly and almost flawlessly on any screen size like a desktop monitor, a tablet, a mobile phone. Most blogs are already like that but with the help of a wizard (joomla, wordpress) but I prefer not to use these tools but to start from scratch it might be just technical books for now but what about gourmet books, gardening or literary and fantasy novels in the future.
I like to have an interactive atmosphere without those mindless breadcrumb navigation. That’s the goal to make a lasting impression for everyone (those who like books or not)
What Kinds of Books do You Review?
Initially I like technical books like database development, web design and Javascript but in the future I would like to review fantasy, literature and even how-to’s and tips which I am very excited on how to visually present them.
What Formats of Manuscripts or Books Will You Accept for Reviews?
PDF, eReader formated
