How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I like punchy, fast-paced, easy-to-read prose but not so much that it exhausts the reader. I also like to weave a variety of different emotional textures into my writing so that its engaging and interesting. Writing fiction at the end of the day is all about entertaining!
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Follow your intuition, be patient learning your craft and be proud to be a storyteller.

I worked as a freelance journalist in the 90’s writing about alternative health & the environment, as well as working in radio. I’ve been writing fiction for 12 years and have a passion for travelling and indigenous wisdom.
There are always many inspiration elements I think, but undertaking a road-trip to America was one and wanting to create an interesting and original new detective character!
