Nobody wakes up one morning and decides this is the day they are going to cheat on their spouse. When the opportunity presents itself however, it ultimately becomes a choice. And that choice, whether good or bad, can have irrevocable consequences.

With his marriage now in pieces and his sanity questionable, Ethan struggles to come to terms with his alcoholism and face his past.

The genre for this book is women’s fiction, and I believe it gives me a wider range to play with than most genres. It can span across a multitude of themes such as romance, betrayal, and illness as well as heavier ones such as domestic abuse, suicide, etc.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
1. Never give up. If you like writing, keep doing it.
2. Join author support groups and learn all you can about the craft of self-publishing, marketing, promoting, and of course writing.
3. Write for yourself and not what you think others want you to write.
I’m a big fan of imagination. I wrote my first story when I was nine and kept it hidden under my bed. Now I am a mom of two boys, zookeeper of a menagerie of pets, and wife to my soul mate who indulges me when I talk about my characters as if they were an extended part of our family.
After All Is Said And Done is available as an e-book, and I am finishing up the prequel to it titled Seasons of Darkness, which I hope to have out soon.
Also available is The Monster of Silver Creek, a cozy mystery about a serial killer of women who leaves a most unusual calling card. Chief of Police Nathan Sommers is on the hunt, but every road leads to a dead end.
I wanted to write a story about what would happen if two couples who worked together had an affair, resulting in a pregnancy. So many times, we see the immediate results of infidelity, but not the long term effects.
I wanted to follow these four individuals for two years in their lives to show the devastating ramifications of adultery. I find that writing about characters with emotional flaws makes them real ,and brings about a certain vulnerability to them.
This ultimately is a book about healing & forgiveness.
