A little girl dares to face her fears; she musters her courage, takes a good look at the monsters that scare her, finds their weak spot and defeats them – with a smile.
The rhymes and funny illustrations in this story are right up the alley of Dr. Seuss lovers, inspiring kids to face their fears and difficulties with courage and humor, instead of feeling powerless to resolve them.

How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I love humor, rhyming stories and a touch of absurdity, the kind that makes you look at the world from a different perspective.
My sources of inspiration are Dr. Seuss, Lewis Carroll and others who take everyday life and twist it around to show it from a different perspective – one that sends a clear message of how we look from the outside – looking in…
This is what I try to convey in my book – fear and difficulties are much less fearful when looked at from a vantage point – especially a funny one.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Writing is fun… Don’t try to control the writing process. Steer it gently from time to time if it goes in too many directions. Other than that – let it flow, even if it does not seem to go where originally intended. You may be surprised and delighted to find a whole new adventure 🙂
Author Bio:
First and foremost I am a mother. It may be somewhat old-fashioned to say something like that in this day and age, but I feel more fulfilled with the happiness of my children than I ever had doing anything else. My professional career has flowered in the software industry. I started at R&D and moved on to senior management and later into independent entrepreneurship. I was completely engrossed in my career until my first child was born. It was a life changing event for me, changing my priorities completely and making me realize that I want to become a full time mother. My children have been the main engine of my personal growth ever since, through the joys and challenges of parenting. I have invested my creativity in finding fun and effective ways to teach my kids to overcome their challenges successfully and aim at fulfillment. Encapsulating these ideas with imagination and putting them into words and rhymes – is what I love to do.
We as parents love to think about our kids’ childhood as happy and free of worries. We do know, however, that every kid is sometimes burdened by fears, doubts and unpleasant emotions.
In my efforts to find a way to help my kids meet their difficulties and resolve them successfully, I developed a process that worked beautifully in achieving just that.
The process is designed to associate the scary image, with a funny image that will counter the fear it triggers.
The effectiveness of the process inspired me to write my book, encapsulating its principles in rhymes and images, in hope that other kids may benefit from it.
Humor is a very powerful tool for neutralizing and overcoming fears and difficulties. This is what this book is about: daring to face a monster – with a smile…
