Brynley Black is a mom by day who writes erotica after the kids are in bed. She lives in the middle of the United States with her family.
What inspires you to write?
The crazy ideas that pop into my head and won’t leave me alone!
Tell us about your writing process.
I am a pantser for sure. When I sit down to write a story, I generally have very little idea of what is going to end up on the page. Discovering the story as I go is part of the fun for me.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
Occasionally, I yell at them.
What advice would you give other writers?
Keep on going. Don’t let anyone tell you no.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I chose to self-publish, because in my opinion, it’s the best route to take when writing erotica. New authors should check out the success of authors in their genre, both traditionally and self-published, and decide which route to take.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Self-publishing is on the rise, and I think it will continue.
