About Ajdin K. Denic:
My name is Ajdin K. Denic and I am from Bosnia Hercegovina. I am 27 of age, happily married and have a little daughter 2 of age. I work as a clerk in a electronics store for a living, and write outside of work when possible.
After reading hundreds of books, different worlds kept crawling into my mind and wanted to be written down, so I started writing a year ago. During writing I listen to metal or trance music, which help me focus on writing.
What inspires you to write?
Dreams. I have a strong imagination and whenever I close my eyes, I can see different worlds flashing in front of my eyes.
I draw no real inspiration from other writers or their worlds, in fact, I choose to be as far as possible from other writers. Over 90 percent of heroes are moral and choose whatever is morally right, in opposition, my characters choose whatever they wish, what is good for them, what a normal human being would, and then I build the world around those characters and their choices.
Tell us about your writing process.
I generally just sit down and write. I don’t think ahead, because whenever I do, I choose another road to take the characters in my books on. I let the story carry me as well as my readers.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
This is my first book so I don’t really have any advices to give. It is very time consuming, that is all I can say.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
More and more self publishing is the future. There are many good selfpublishers out there who have awesome books. Why hang on to the classic writers?
