About Red Rahman:
Red Rahman is a budding writer in the realm of business, finance, supply chain and entrepreneurship.
Though his background is in marketing, his career is centred on supply chain and logistics. During his undergraduate years, he freelanced on all the well-known online marketplaces specializing in copywriting, blogging, search engine optimization and social media marketing.
Today, he is a corporate warrior by day and a stealth writer by night and hopes to one day run his own consulting firm specializing in business optimization.
What inspires you to write?
Writing provides a medium to express and share knowledge and opinions gained from experience and second-hand research.
Tell us about your writing process.
My writing process is fairly straight-forward. As I write non-fiction, I tend to focus on facts and add an element of interest through wordplay to 'spice up' the work. I also try to avoid using jargon as my focus is to attract as many general readers to my works as possible.
What advice would you give other writers?
Keep practising and try to find the topic(s) that stimulates you most to "just write." These topics tend to increase your creative and passion for your work.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I researched a lot on ways to publish. After a certain point, I decided Kindle was the best method, especially for starting out the self-publishing journey.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
The future of book publishing will definitely be more digital – with physical books on the decline day by day.
What genres do you write?: Business, finance, self-help, personal development
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
