What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was inspired to write this book following my retirement from the U.S. Army after 27 years of service. I had shared stories of deployment and combat with friends and family, and they urged me to put it in writing. My intent was to share my experiences so that younger Soldiers could possibly learn something, and to share with anyone interested in our Nation's military history and warfare.
