What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I’ve been working on the setting and characters for years – I originally developed the world as a setting to run Dungeons and Dragons games. As time went on, my head filled up with maps and plot and characters… it all had to spill out somewhere! So, here it is!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
One of the main characters came from an extra credit writing assignment in 4th grade – ages ago – and was the first D&D character I ever played. The rest of the cast sprang up almost effortlessly, as if they were just planted in the world and all they needed was a little daylight.
