In the beginning, when the battle for heaven was won and the rebellious angels were cast into hell, not every angel had a place. Those who hadn’t chosen a side were sentenced to exist between the two parallels…earth. The angels who repented were called the Fallen, peaceful angles that existed amongst mankind. Those who rejected their punishment became known as the First, angels that survived by stealing souls.
Over time, a First and Fallen unite and the Protectors were born.
Eighteen year old Mira Daly had one goal, get out of Redding,WY and never look back. That was until her best friend goes missing the day before graduation. Chloe’s disappearance brings back haunting memories of her father, and through the help of some unexpected new friends, the story of who he was and what she’s meant to be unfolds.
With a living, breathing, nightmare determined to destroy her, Mira knows the only way to survive is to accept her fate and meet this demon in battle.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I had just finished the “Gifted” Trilogy and wanted to do a stand-alone. I love paranormal and I love suspense, so I wanted to put the two together.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Most of my characters are the people around me. They give me the best material and help me stay focused.
About the Author:
I’m an author in hiding…I still work full time, but don’t ever look over my shoulder to see what’s on my computer screen. Chances are you will find me secretly writing.
Besides family and friends, I love to laugh. It may be at the expense of those I love, but they get me, so I usually don’t offend to much.
Honesty…I can’t help it. I usually say way I feel, but with a little guidance I’ve learned to be more tactful.
I’ve worked in plenty of environments (trucking company, corrections and I was in the military to mention a few) so I guess you can say that’s where my mouth and attitude come from. Either way, as long as I get my morning cup of coffee people are safe.
I love reading and sharing books with my friends. I’ve made it to 70% of my goal so far of reading 50 books this year, and that’s in between writing. LOVE IT!
