Damon Ferrell Marbut is the author of Awake in the Mad World. He is currently working on his second novel in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he lives and works.
From Damon:
I’ve recently released my debut novel, *Awake in the Mad World, *after three years of reluctance and apprehension toward the publishing industry as it now exists, versus how I knew it growing up. My goal is to help others grow in confidence about how they will approach their own work being published, either by a press or publisher, or independently, as I have gone through this very recently. Your call for authors is exactly the conversation I hope to have with future students and writers.
