“Poetry that actually rhymes, is not completely obscure but is laugh-out loud funny…In a just universe this collection would be found on more bedside tables than “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” while the final poem, “Someday,” is inscribed on more City Hall lawn marble tablets than the Ten Commandments.” — Fergus on Amazon

What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Unless you REALLY REALLY LOVE to write, AND you ALSO REALLY REALLY LOVE to write teenage vampire novels, or soft-core porn (I know, same difference), I’d tell you to keep working in hardcore porn, I guess… in whatever capacity. Not EVERYONE can be a star, but just stay in the game, that’s the key. There are LOTS of support positions. Grip. Gaffer. Fluffer. Whatever you can get.. Porn is another REAL growth industry these days.
Author Bio:
Artist, writer, lover, fighter, pillow-biter. Classy clown. D X Stone is a mystery wrapped in an enigma and sprinkled with candy sprinkles.
Actually, I don’t really write these poems at all. I have a brain tumor that writes ’em.
I’m pretty sure he’s a boy. I’ll just let him speak for himself here:
I’ve always loved the work of Shel Silverstein. A LOT of great comedic minds like George Carlin, Woody Allen, Steve Martin (who shares my birthday!), Gary Larson (who also shares my birthday! 8/14!)… Monty Python, Charlie Chaplin, Mel Brooks, all of them are welcome to share my birthday. I love absurdists. And presents.
Seriously, I love absurdity. The world’s simply too tragic to bear with a straight face all the time.
If I should ever giggle at anyone’s beheading, please don’t take it personally. It’s just my way of dealing.
