What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
My favorite Pakistani celebrity, Mr. Fawad Khan inspired me to write this book.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Writing Ahmar Muraad’s character was easy because I already had imagined him in my mind and I was also quite sure who would be his heroine in this book.
Book Sample
As soon as the flashback disappeared, she felt butterflies in her stomach. She hugged herself firmly and shut her eyes so that she could feel him around. It was dark in her room. Only a dim light appeared at the place where she stood. When she opened her eyes, she found him standing at her back. She knew she was hallucinating. For once, she felt embarrassed too but it was nothing more than an illusion. He watched her through the mirror’s reflection. She lowered her gaze and started smiling. He untied her hair and let them hang loose over her neck and shoulders. Ahmar slid them all together across her neck to one side and then gradually brought his lips closer to her nape. She felt chills running down her spine as he pressed his lips against her nape and slowly curled his arm around her waist.
Zarish turned around to face him. She looked at him with desperation and he stared right into her eyes with passion like never before.
Their breath was becoming uneven now. Without having any second thoughts, she hugged him tightly.
“I don’t want to let you go. Not now. Not ever.” While she said this, tears streamed out of her eyes.
“I’m here with you. Always,” he murmured softly against her hair.
“I love you, Ahmar. I love you so much,” she whispered.
Though the illusion lasted only for a few seconds, Zarish tried to engulf herself completely into that one moment.

Sara Naveed completed her Masters in Banking and Finance from University of Management and Technology. Despite being a business student and professional, she did not give up her love for writing and literature.
‘Undying Affinity’ is her debut novel. Being a writer has always been her dream; in fact, it is a passion that resides deep inside her heart and soul.
