What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I lost a beloved father-in-law to COVID-19, and I wanted to write a timely story that incorporated the pandemic but kept it light. So I came up with an idea for a romance that threw two very unlikely characters together. By sheltering in place for months, they were forced to look past their differences. Lo and behold, they learned they had more in common than they first realized, and as a result, they fell in love.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The main characters were secondary characters that played different roles in the earlier books in my series, so I had an outline of their personalities already in place. Once I started writing them, they sort of fleshed themselves out, especially as they played off one another. It was a fun process!
