What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The Soul Reader Series is about spiritual warfare and based on Ephesians 6:12. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The inspiration for the main character, Zeke Jackson, came from the Jack Ryan character, a reluctant hero who could only imagine himself as a CIA analyst working at a desk. Zeke Jackson could only imagine himself as a reporter working behind the scenes when he is suddenly thrust into the limelight. Weaved throughout the series is a slow burn contemporary romance with Abby Sorensen, an FBI Agent who falls in love with Zeke.
