What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Most romance writers have a soft heart when it comes to animals, and when an opportunity arose for us to use our talents to not only entertain readers with heartwarming, pet-friendly stories, but to also use all of our proceeds to donate to animal rescue, we jumped at the chance. We chose Elayne Boosler’s Tails of Joy rescue, because they make small donations to needy rescues all over the world, and we set the collection at an irresistible price so we could make a difference in the lives of as many pets as possible.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Our characters exist in eras from medieval times to present day, but they all have one thing in common–a meaningful connection with an animal–an animal that is sometimes a rescuer, sometimes a matchmaker, sometimes a pesky pet that can’t keep its wet little nose out of the romantic interludes between the hero and heroine.
