What inspires you to write?
My interest in writing this book is a very small attempt to payback to all the women in my lives, my Mother, Grand Mother and my wife and other women who helped me immensely in not only nurturing me but also making me what I am today.
Anybody who is watching the trends in modern society today cannot help but notice the rise of women to positions of power and authority. The natural question that comes to a male mind is No this could be a passing trend. However I read the Indian scriptures which have given clearly the predictions on modern society that we live in and clearly Women rising to the top is indicated. I have quoted the exact Indian scripture that states this prophecy in the book.
Tell us about your writing process.
In fiction book writing meticulous planning of the book is extremely important. Especially because some of the subjects like my latest book Madam President Rise of Matriarchy involved 6 months of Data science and astrological research. This required the data mining analyzing and then creating the storyline for the discovered hidden patterns in astrology.
The process is very detailed when you have computer programming involved using languages such as R, Python, Hadoop to clean, analyze and build the concrete statistical evidence for the pattern found.
So each book is very well researched as it involves writing computer programs to build the storyline.
The overall process is:
Concept to-> Code to-> Storyline
What advice would you give other writers?
I can give advice to Non-fiction authors that you need to become the master of the field you want to write. If you are not an expert in any one field then think of the single one that will make you write a book. Do I have the expertise that others will like to read about?
Do some research along with your friends and family to find out if they would be interested in the area you want to write. Who would be your target audience of your book?
This should help you get started with your first idea
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I approached some publishers like everyone else. However, I quickly learned on getting a publisher and convincing them to publish your book verbatim is not going to happen as all of them wanted some changes to it.
So I decided to self-publish and reach the readers directly through Amazon.com and other self-publishing companies
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Book publishing is going to see two trends:
1) The Rise of Self-Publishing sales to almost 80% of books in the industry.
2) Phasing out of ISBN numbers in book publishing. Since the top 7 books on amazon.com do not have an ISBN number.
What genres do you write?: Science Prediction, Prediction
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
