What inspires you to write?
I always had a gift for expression and I have an over active imagination . So all these combined made me a pretty good writer.
Tell us about your writing process.
For non-fictionI get a topic in my head then do my research..Once that's done I go all in and just let my natural talent take over. If I'm writing fiction I just go wherever my burnt out mind takes me. Im a seat of the pants writer .
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
Yes absolutely I talk to my characters and as a matter of fact they answer back. I think of their situation and I ask them " How would you handle this situation??
What advice would you give other writers?
Just write…Writing is freedom to express whatever you feel. I've done fiction and Non-fiction..You can write about whatever you want. And I can express myself far better this way than talking.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
Self publishing for me works because I want to own my work completely. I advise new authors to self publish…Its more work to promote your work but more freedom when it blows up !
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think the future is self publishing..There is nothing more satisfying than to own those words you took so long to write.
