About Md. Ahasan Habib Rifat:
Md. Ahasan Habib Rifat is a Bangladeshi author best known for his writings on Islam, comparative religion, and non-fiction themes centered on peace and humanity. He is the founder of Islampidia, a digital platform dedicated to providing authentic Islamic knowledge in Bengali and beyond.
Born and raised in Badarganj, Rangpur, in a family that deeply valued education, Rifat developed a lifelong passion for learning, writing, and exploring religious truths. Throughout his career, he has committed himself to producing thoughtful works that clarify misconceptions, inspire reflection, and promote universal values of compassion, justice, and harmony.

What inspires you to write?
What inspires me to write is a deep desire to share knowledge and insight that can bring clarity, peace, and understanding to people’s lives. Especially in religious non-fiction, I’m motivated by the hope that my words can help readers explore their faith more deeply and find guidance in a complex world. Writing allows me to connect with others on meaningful topics and contribute something positive and lasting.

What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
I especially admire authors who write deeply and clearly about religion, philosophy, and spirituality. Some of my favorite authors are Imam Muhammad Ali, Al-Ghazali, Mirjana Wells, and Rumi. Their works have greatly influenced my own writing style and approach. I respect writers who can create a sincere connection with readers and present truly meaningful content.

Tell us about your writing process.
When I write, I start by deeply researching my topic to ensure accuracy and authenticity, especially since I focus on religious non-fiction. I like to approach writing as a way to share meaningful knowledge and inspire reflection. Usually, I outline the key points I want to cover, then write in a clear, straightforward style that’s easy for readers to understand. I also try to write with empathy and respect, considering the diverse backgrounds of my readers. Writing for me is both a discipline and a passion — it’s about connecting ideas with hearts and minds.

How did you decide how to publish your books?
Deciding how to publish my books involved considering my goals and the best ways to reach readers interested in religious non-fiction. I explored various options like traditional publishing, self-publishing, and digital platforms. Ultimately, I chose methods that gave me control over the content and allowed me to connect directly with my audience. This approach ensures my message remains authentic and accessible.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I believe the future of book publishing is both exciting and evolving rapidly. Digital platforms and self-publishing have opened incredible opportunities for authors to reach global audiences without traditional barriers. At the same time, readers’ tastes continue to diversify, so there’s a growing need for authentic, meaningful content—especially in genres like religious non-fiction. I think technology will keep shaping how we create, share, and consume books, but the core of great writing—connecting with readers on a human level—will always remain essential.

What genres do you write?: religious,non-fiction
