About John Russell:
John Russell has been a professional psychic for 50 years. Internationally known, he has provided psychic readings for clients in over 40 countries. John filmed a TV pilot for The History Channel, and in the period of a couple of years time has been interviewed over 140 times on radio and podcasts worldwide including eight appearances on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and nine UK podcasts.
Available for interviews/appearances John has had mind-blowing encounters with UFOs; experienced over 1,000 paranormal manifestations; investigated the spiritual realm since age 11; and is a published author with two multi-award-winning nonfiction books in print (“Riding with Ghosts, Angels, and the Spirits of the Dead,” and “A Knock in the Attic”) endorsed by Uri Geller, George Noory, and others, and a third book, “20 Ways to Increase Your Psychic Abilities” will come out in 2023.
John was also a featured presenter at the online Paranormal, Magic & Ancient Folklore Conference and the Seed Dreaming Online Conference.

The desire to communicate my experiences with my reading audience.

Tell us about your writing process.
I'm a seat of the pants writer. I get the idea for a book and dive in. I do, however, have a general idea where the book is going. I write nonfiction, so that seems to make it easier to fly by the seat of my pants.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
What advice would you give other writers?
Be true to your own voice, and overcome writer's block by showing up everyday and putting the work in.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I'm happily self-published and wouldn't have it any other way. I control my editing process; I control my marketing and advertising; I make more money in the long run than most traditionally published authors; I don't have to worry about being backlisted, and much more.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think self-publishing will only continue to grow.
