What inspires you to write?
THE GOOD FOR NOTHING BOY is my latest book. I was inspired to write it when I was younger and felt unsure of my self-worth and my purpose in life. I was also trying to explore the limits of my imagination. Through books, I wanted people to be able to travel to magical places, even if only for a while. I also wanted to impart certain values through the perspective of an innocent child.

I’d like to write more when it rains. I also tend to drink a lot of coffee! When that is not available, I’ve got to have some chocolate bars. Music also helps me set the proper mood.
I don't always know everything about the book I'm going to write, especially when it's fiction. I want to enjoy the journey of discovery while writing it. I also want the characters to reveal themselves to me.
I often use my laptop when I write. However, there are times when I feel like writing by hand. There was a novel I was able to write that way in an old notebook.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I usually listen to them talk to each other.
What advice would you give other writers?
Don’t be afraid to write the book that wants to be born from your heart.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I felt like I wanted to share the world I've seen to others.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think authors will always find a way to express themselves and reach their readers.
