Grace Kilian Delaney writes sweet, sexy, LGBT romance with a touch of naughty. A musician, animal lover, and author of Living on a Dare: A Shore Thing Novel, she occasionally performs kitchen concerts to an audience of her two cats and a dog. What inspires you to write?
Anything can act as a plot bunny. Watching people interact, hearing stories, exploring a trope. Ideas come from dreams and sometimes through meditating.
Tell us about your writing process.
I'm a mix of a pantser and planner. I usually have an idea of where I want the story to go and once I get that, I use software to further develop the story. I write one or two pages as the character to get a sense of who they are before doing a full character sketch.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I listen to them.
What advice would you give other writers?
Learn all you can about writing, then trust your gut when it comes to your story. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Ebooks and print will remain staples, and any beginning writer with the means and the willingness to don hats as writer and promoter will continue to do better than those who don't invest in social media.
