What inspires you to write?
What inspires me to write? I am able to weave stories and tales together that people can relate to and reflect in their lives.
What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
My favorite authors includes Dan Brown, James Peterson, and Nick Vuijicic
Tell us about your writing process.
An idea will come in the most interesting places. From there an idea is written where I will develop characters, a plot and than I will begin the writing process.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I do listen and talk to my characters. Often they speak to me in a way that inspires me to continue to voice who they are.
What advice would you give other writers?
I would tell whoever wants to write that no matter what, keep writing. Reread, readjust, and re-edit if you have to, but keep writing. Write every day. Carve out a time and become disciplined on that time to set aside for yourself. Your writing is a part of you!!!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
How long has it been since I published my first book? Fifteen-sixteen years ago? The industry was a bit different. I began as a self-published author. Eventually, I did sign a contract in 2011 and 2012, but I had a very bad experience with the publishing house. My advice is to do research. I have since done research with who I publish.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Book publishing and ebooks have seen its waves of highs and lows. I am sure that it will continue throughout the economy. At the moment I am sure that ebooks will continue to sell and blossom.
What genres do you write?: fiction, nonfiction, medical fiction, inspirational
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
