Crow, a young ranch hand, is swept into an odyssey of redemption and revenge as he strives to hold back the ravages of fate and the urges born of a curse shared with his new mentor.
Callus, an exile struggling to find redemption whilst keeping his vampiric curse from tainting his new ward, pursues his prey across the sea.
The new world they discover reveals a tyrannical society fixated on their council’s ascension to godhood.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I live and breathe fantasy and have always been inspired by the greats of the genre, Robert E Howard, Raymond E Feist, HP Lovecraft. I feel my strength lies in creating enjoyable characters in fantasy settings but what I wanted to create my own worlds while raising my glass to the originals. I created a world very much like our own but destroyed it so a new world could emerge. One that shared traits with the old but was also shaped by the new people born from an apocalyptic event.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I wanted characters to be relatable and not always what is expected of a character in a fantasy book. I wanted to show the dark side of human emotion and drive without being so bleak that the reader didn't have fun while reading it! My characters all have grit but are (hopefully) enjoyable to watch!
