Through colorful illustrations and catchy rhymes, Sannel Larson lets every child know that they are perfect just the way they are. Just like a pebble, a cloud or a leaf, we all come in different shapes, sizes and colors. We are all unique and beautiful in our own way, and we should be very proud of who we are, each and everyone of us. The story teaches us also that the real beauty is within our heart. And that is what is most important. How to Build Self Confidence & Self-Esteem in children. Bedtime Stories for Early Readers. Picture book.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Self-esteem is significant to development, so it’s very important for children to hear that they are perfect just the way they are. As a child, I never heard that I was unique, clever or beautiful in any way, and as a result of that, I always thought less of myself, and that is something I have to struggle with even today.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The characters are born as soon as I start writing the first word.
“Please remember that our beauty comes from within our heart. If we love, care and show compassion for people, animals, nature and ourselves alike, then our heart will be the sun that spreads its beautiful sun rays to whomever we meet, and the happiness we’ll receive by doing that, will make us into the most beautiful, proudest sunflower superstar in the world.
Be proud of who you are, my sunflower superstar!”
