It’s at the very end of a long day where we find a little boy named Bean up in his room, happily at play. Time has flown by, the sun has set, and little Bean still has not slept. Then Mommy comes and announces to his grand surprise, “It’s time for bed.” But will Bean lie down and shut his eyes?

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The joy I found in parenting as a single mother of two inspired me to write this book. In my life I have occupied many roles: Daughter, Sister, Friend, Wife, Businesswoman, LifeGuide, and Author however, without a doubt it’s the role of “Mother” that trumps them all! As life would have it, I had to work multiple jobs during my children’s formative years, and found that on most days, it would be right around bedtime where I'd get to relax and enjoy quality time with them reading bedtime stories, singing songs, and hearing about their day. These precious moments would fill my heart with so much love, joy, and gratitude for the gift of parenting that I began to write about them so I would never forget.
As time went by, on occasion, I’d share my little rhyming stories with close friends and family, who enjoyed them so much that they all encouraged me to publish my work. Now here I am with my first children’s book publication, and there’s more to come!
