In my experience the toxic effects of so many accumulated lies about who we truly are masks our real worth and value. We get worn down and become vulnerable to want to do anything to escape. We need to challenge and stop believing the poisonous labels others have given us. This book is the battle plan I developed to attack every suicidal thought, and conquer my freedom from toxic labels and despair. The self-taught training program I developed helped me overcome the severe limitations of negativity and self-sabotage. I chose to fight back hard with the truth that gave me the freedom to live. Knowing the truth can set you free, and you can find rest for your soul, but you must decide to fight the negativity. You don’t need to be suicidal to benefit from this training. You just need to want to overcome your limitations. My most important decisions have been to live, overcome my inner strongholds of negativity, and give my life to help others. Hope my journey can enhance the journey of many others!

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I have written my very first kindle book, called Then Came the Dawn. It is a personal mission of mine of sorts. I primarily wrote the book to help out in this
scourge of bullying/suicide affecting so many young people. However, I believe the book can also provide hope and encouragement to anyone who wants to overcome
the inner strongholds of negativity. I'd love to see this book get some traction in order to lend a voice of hope to either those hurting or those friends or counselors wanting to help. I have personal experience with this issue when I was a student. By the time I reached middle school, occasional bullying incidents had exploded into relentless daily humiliation at the hands of at least twenty-five bullies or “tormentors” who made my life miserable. During this period, I was targeted almost every day and night. My future seemed to be nothing but endless misery. Suffering from an intense self-hatred, soul-crushing despair drained my strength to go on. The idea of suicide seemed to be an “easy” and quick escape. This book was written in the hope of giving others the training I developed for myself to overcome despair and negativity to live a life that impacted others for good.
I finally realized how much life is worth living, even with all its challenges. Along the way, I used all the things I have outlined in the training sections in this book. I did not have this as a resource at the time. I just picked things up from random efforts over the years and by adopting the suggestions of others who have overcome hardships. In writing this, I hope that others who face torment and the dreadful, draining power of despair can benefit from the things I have learned.
Ultimately, I learned that I did not need to escape my life by choosing death. I decided instead to fight to stay alive. I fought my way through the effects of relentless bullying, the daily hatred poured into my soul by at least twenty-five tormentors. I fought my way through despair, fear, depression, self-hatred, loneliness, aimless wandering, a sense of failure, bitterness, envy, and crippling pain. Only by resolving to live and fight my way through all this was I able to build hope and experience life in a way I had never thought possible. It was as if a long, terrible night of terror had passed and then came the dawn. I hope that what I have written can encourage any of you who suffer as I did or anyone who wants to help someone tormented by despair and contemplating suicide. I hope this helps you through what is undoubtedly an incredibly grim and terrible time. My experiences may differ from what you are experiencing, but I know what it is like to feel so dreadful that you want to die. I also know what it is like to pull back from the brink and fight through to live. It is worth it to fight your way past the current storm to get to the other side of it, regardless of how long it takes. It is not impossible. I want to help you as much as I can with what I have written here. There also are many others who want to help you, although you may not believe it. Don’t give in. We want you to live and become the person you were meant to be. We want the light in you to shine. There is indeed much darkness in this world, but I believe the power of the light ultimately will prevail. You can be a part of that light, but darkness is trying to swallow you up. Fight against it. Many of us care about you and will do what we can to help you. One day, you can be someone who, having been delivered from darkness into the light, can help others as well. Pull back from the brink and begin to fight the suicidal feelings. Wage war against the terrible, destructive power of despair. If you never give up, the night will continue to recede. Always remember, you are worth it. So, fight my dear friend, fight for your life, fight with everything you have to push back the night, so that your dawn may come as it did for me and has for many others.
