What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I worked as an American Red Cross volunteer for years with hundreds and hundreds of volunteer hours in helping victims of Disaster Relief Floods, and Earthquakes. Our Climate is changing also the locations of Disasters. Tornados locations have moved Imagine living in your home and in two seconds losing everything including your vehicle? If you survive you you are lucky to return to where your house once stood, all your paper work gone also only left with the cloths on your back. By purchasing this book of a series of 5 a percentage of the proceeds will go to these victims.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Combination of using real life experiences as a child & fiction. Having a story about two brothers was easily for me being one of the two brothers in real life.

Chapter One- On The Ranch
On the Ranch a large vineyard ranch is surrounded by vine-yards on all sides. Hot summer –July 1963 in sunny St. Helena, California. Our house was a small Spanish single-story cottage. It had already been extended to provide the two oldest sisters their own bedrooms. Hard to believe it was big enough based on today’s standards to accommodate-date four kids-(two older sisters and two young brothers) and two adults –mom and dad. Our house bordered the circular driveway facing our lane. Two bordering towering mountain-sized red barns look like hovering parents, watching their small tot play in the yard. It seemed like yesterday three weeks ago we finished planting our late sea-son vegetable crop; care was taken to make sure each crop section was setup for irrigation and labeled properly using the empty seed package on top of a small redwood stake so you could easily identify what was planted where. The smell of freshly tilled rich soil filled the air. Mom wore her dark brown hair in a fifty’s hair style with curly bangs coming out a bright multi-color bandanna; she wore a spring white dress with a multi-color floral patterns kitchen apron….
Then the World Wind abruptly stopped? The vessel still continued to spin so fast you could barely make out Tim’s viewing window amongst the blur which finally slowed, then tipped over on its side. I ran to get Tim out, I had to raise it back up and got the hatch open. “Are you Ok? Tim?” Tim fell out of the vessel. He looked very dizzy and disorientated, but something seemed different. Tim lost that boyish look.
