How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
To write a great children’s book, I think you have to see and understand things from a child’s perspective. In that regard, I received immeasurable assistance from my own children (ages 9 and 12).
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Write about things that you are passionate about. If you do, the passion will live within your book and inspire passion in your readers.

He is a graduate of Colby College (BA), New England School of Law (JD) and New York University (LLM). Startling Connections was his first novel. Peter lives in Tenafly, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
My children. I had previously written and published Startling Connections, a thriller for adults. My daughter Katherine was excited when it was published but when she realized it was not for kids asked me to write a children’s book that she and her friends could read. I agreed and after running the concept for the book by her, she approved and The Sapphire Prism Cave (Book 1 of the A Journey Through The Space Vortex trilogy) was written and edited over the past two years.
