What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
My number one advice for aspiring writing would be to write from the heart, not the market.
Don’t let the sales of another book cause you to want to tackle that market. Write the stories you want people to hear. Ignore the financial aspect of writing and just tell stories. Those stories will find there way to the people that need to hear it.
Lemar Knight is an author born in Los Angeles, whose major success came as an actor in several films ranging from comedy to action. He has experience as a ghost writer for many of today’s successful comedians as well as his own experience on stage. Wanting more to create than to perform is where his paths turned towards writing, which gave him the freedom as an artist he desired. His passion for writing comes from his surroundings of everyday life. But a majority of his ideas comes entirely from Dreams…
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Growing up watching films like Steven Spielberg’s “Goonies” and E.T. inspired to write this story. I wanted to recreate the feeling we as adults had while watching those great adventures of the past and bring it to the present. I also wanted to bring an innocence back to writing that I feel has been missing.
