What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wanted to share the world the smaller me. I grew up in a military family and faced challenges on my own. I want to share those challenges in a positive way. My daddy called me SweetPea and i wanted to honor his memory and leave a legacy to my two boys and my grandchildren.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
SweetPea is me as a little girl and Gnomesitall is her life Guide as Jesus is to me now. I used my imagination as I did as a little girl and finally put it down on paper. Ladybugs are my favorite and I thought they would make a cute character. I used to collect insects and butterflies when I was little. I enjoy the outdoors, especially gardens.
