How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
My writing is different because it’s my view and my perspective. That is what makes it so unique. I think every author is different because they bring their own challenges/adventures and interpretation of events. It’s what makes writing in any genre great, the possibilities are endless.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
I would tell aspiring writers to take the leap of faith. Being able to write something is a personal en devour and then having the courage to share it with and audience is exhilarating and terrifying all at the same time. Learning from the criticism and advice also becomes a balancing act. You need to take it in and grow as a writer but it shouldn’t dictate your next story or character. It’s a fine line you learn to navigate with experience.
T.S. Krupa was born in New Haven, Connecticut. Raised in a Polish household with a blended American culture, she is fluent in Polish. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce University, where she also played field hockey. She earned her Master’s from Texas Tech University and plans to graduate with her Doctor of Education from North Carolina State University in 2014. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and dog. This is her first novel.
The idea came from a conversation that my husband and I had when we were creating our wills. We live in a state with no other family, so what if that person were to move, who would ever visit the deceased? The idea from Safe & Sound grew from those questions.
