What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wanted to write a book where the female protagonist fights for the freedom to her mind, heart, and soul
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
These characters also appear in other books I have
“How can I help you?” Whitney asked with a frown, wondering if he was some kind of messenger from the hotel or a vagrant, who followed her from the hotel, trying to swindle some change from her.
They were still in Las Vegas and people were willing to do anything in order to get money around here to play the slots.
Yet, just knowing Whitney didn’t know whom he was seemed to make him even angrier. “You deceive so many you can’t even keep up with who you swindle?” he seethed.
Really looking up into this man’s face, she was amazed to see that his face was handsome despite the unkempt appearance. She also became very aware that this man’s anger was definitely aimed at her and she didn’t know what she had done to him. Never being in the presence of a man’s anger (Eric didn’t count because he was all bark and no bite), Whitney chose her words carefully. “I don’t recall your face.”
He clutched her arm in a grip and she felt something sharp press against her ribs. Her eyes widened in shock, and then fear came immediately. “You’ll be sorry for what you did to me,” he hissed. “Stand your ass up and walk out of here willingly or I swear I won’t give a damn and shove this steel straight through your chest.”
