How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
What makes writing in my genre different than writing in others is that I have to do a lot of remembering. Since I write middle school and young adult books, I have to see things through their eyes and not an adult’s. Having children of my own helps!

I am an aspiring writer! I queried and was rejected until I felt like giving up. But…I didn’t. That’s the trick. Don’t – give – up.
Find what you love and do it. Don’t let others’ opinions decide your fate.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
What inspired me to write my book is a love of spooky stories and the supernatural!

I live in Texas with my husband and our four sons. We love the outdoors – riding on our four wheelers or on our boat. We enjoy visiting amusement parks and sitting around a fire telling scary stories.
I taught middle school for a few years before staying home with my boys.
