How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
These stories are real literary fiction with a romantic outlook., an outlook that values romantic relationships I don’t rely on genre formulas or stock characters, and I need (or want) a happy ending in the usual sense. Sometimes, men and women don’t end up together, but they’ve learned from one another, they’re touched by one another.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Write for the pure joy of writing. And then edit, edit and edit until every sentence is perfect.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Old Hollywood movies have that certain charm and glamour, and I wanted to capture that in these stories, but with tales of contemporary women, online dating, today’s world. I feel there’s a lot of vulgarity and demeaning behavior in TV and film, as well as some literary fiction. And it’s my hunch that educated readers want wit, charm and sophistication– or at least, this is my hope.
