What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was inspired to write MEN LIKE THIS by a desire to see a hero on the page like one I’d never seen before. I wanted to flip the role on its head, and Jack Decker didn’t disappoint.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Jack Decker was especially inspired by Doctor Who. I wanted a different kind of hero. Not the strong-and-silent hardened Alpha male a girl has to chip away, but a guy who put it all out there. The heroine, Quinn, had to become his perfect foible; a dry sense of humor and a skeptic where Jack’s a believer.
