Author Bio:
Lee C Mitchell (1937-Present) was born in Atlanta, GA, to Irish farming parents. He is the son of Elsie and Roy Mitchell, Sr. of Stone Mountain, GA, local Christian Gospel singers and musicians. His father tired of farming in his twenties and struck out on his own, building and inspecting Model T Fords at the old plant on Ponce De Leon Ave in Atlanta. Next he learned the motion picture business during the great depression and then built and opened his own business in Stone Mountain. His son, Lee, grew up in this musical family of 7 children and after High School attended college in Atlanta. In 1962 he decided to join the Air Force receiving IBM training. He moved to Buford, GA in 2001. For many years he worked in Greater Atlanta Businesses and longed to publish his music and poetry. His first book, “Love’s Destiny,” is his first published novel. In 1991, he decided to work on perfecting his creative writing talent by enrolling in Ga State University’s Creative Writing Program. He has created a score of short stories – none have yet been published. Awards have eluded him, but with the advent of Amazon’s KDP program, he is now published.
