What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I recently bought my forever house, and I am beginning to work on my food forest. I love growing my own fruits and veggies and then coming up with new creative ways to combine them, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to share with others.
Pickled onions go great in any salad, and pickling is a great way to preserve the extra onions from the garden. I use a 32 oz jar to make mine, and just keep it in the door of the fridge with the other condiments.
They are ready to eat the next day, but the longer they are in there, the better they get. When the onions are almost gone, just slice another and add them in a little at a time.
