I always loved creating recipes that are simple, fresh, nutritional, and delicious that can be prepared in minutes. One of my favorite recipe categories is chutneys. They bring warmth and comfort to the taste palette in any season, weather, or occasion. They can be paired with many choices as I mention in my book and most of all are easy and quick to prepare.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I grew up in a family of good cooks who always prepared delicious and enjoyable meals. Most everything in our family lives was centered around good food, be it homework times, family chats, gatherings, birthdays, movie nights, holidays, festivals, or vacations. My occasional cooking involved fixing a cup or two of rice, tortillas, dal soup, or an easy-to-fix breakfast item.
As time went on my interest and joy in cooking emerged in my mid twenties when I was a student living on my own and was cooking at home more often in order to stay frugal.
Later on when I encountered food allergies and sensitivities in my own family, I began experimenting and creating meals that are not only healthier and cleaner but tastier as well.
No matter what the occasion, birthday parties, church parties, gatherings with family, friends, neighbors, or colleagues, I have always loved creating recipes that are simple, fresh, nutritional, and delicious that can be prepared in minutes.
