What inspires you to write?
Everything! From a flower to a cloud, from a people to a film, from a word to a book I read, from a song to a real life scene, from a beverage to a mountain… Everything at all!
To tell the audience the trough, it has been one particular person that afraid my book of essays and demand to read it first (no idea of course about my rights!) and he try to afraid me with his words. So he did everything not to circulated my book “Before the things exist the great…”… An example how our works can effective the world… Of course he didn’t have a success. But his fears where so strong…. I strong suggest people to read that book of mine and tell me then what was his afraid really? As a matter of fact I will make a survey in my fans in my social media pages to try find it out! And now his behavior provide me with a theme for my new book of essays: “The fear of a sparkle” !
Tell us about your writing process.
I take my notebook and my pen in a coffee-shop with fast internet connection, order a very large cup of hot chocolate and a sweet, watch the people and hear their conversations and voila! The books is in the pages! After that, every page I write, I take a snapshot with my phone and upload to my social media pages. A kind of addiction I suppose but I allow it to myself, after all … I like to share…
Or sometimes I just sit in front of my laptop with all my social media pages open and writing…
What advice would you give other writers?
“If something inside you says: “I couldn’t live without writing, then write and do not listen anyone!” ”
It was the first advice I have ever heard!
Oh, and to read as many books as they can! Reading will build worlds in the minds, the fantasy will grow up!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
Well, in my case really matter to have a person that understand me in my life in general and in the field of books and one person that we can collaborate clearly and effectively.
I like to honor myself and my conversation with others, so I like a publisher who likeσ to honor himself and to keep his word. I like persons and collaboration with them, so I prefer a publisher that will tell me his opinion for my books and he knows his work. After all the editions is a work for publishers and the writing is for the authors. Otherwise authors wouldn’t have time for writing at all! And beyond of all that, I like to belong in my life. I am an emotional person, so I will choose every time a traditional publishing house for my books. As for publishing forms, I haven’t any problem. I like all types of reading.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
That is a question that I make in a Greek book editor years ago. He answered me that the future is now and if we wonder for tomorrow we wouldn’t publishing today. So let us publishing today with every way we have and let us publishing now for the tomorrow! And the future will tell us it s needs. Simple and clear..
